"I was introduced to Krystal Kenny via the American Woman’s Group in Paris. Being an owner of a “proper” DSLR camera I always viewed my phone’s camera as merely a tool for snapping those quick unimportant shots – okay for Facebook, but certainly never for something that could be hung on the wall. I have however noticed that most of my photos are actually taken with my phone, and not my “big” camera – and thus when I saw the opportunity to learn from Krystal I jumped at the chance. I discovered a ton of interesting information on ways to shoot everyday scenes, Paris is after all riddled with amazing opportunities for this! Krystal is extremely informative, warm, and easygoing – always ready with a helpful tip. The locations she chose for the shoots seemed rather “every day” but once there I was blown away at the nooks and crannies she pointed out, with gorgeous angles, in places I had walked by a thousand times. Her passion for photography is clearly evident, combine this with her bubbly personality and the results are natural shots, not too posed, and of course with beautiful backdrops! I may now strive to take photos worthy of my walls and not just social media snaps. Seriously, look no further. Krystal Kenney takes her job of taking incredible photos very seriously. I signed up for a class with her to learn how to take better photos. Krystal is very talented and took the time to ensure we all captured all the details perfectly. Some were aimed at breathtaking scenes – Paris is after all littered with such opportunities – others were just fun and quirky, but none were over posed and unnatural.
