Hôtel Particulier Montmartre
Tucked away in the cobblestone streets of Montmartre you will stumble upon a gem of a restaurant and hotel by the name of Hôtel Particulier Montmartre.
It's not easy at first to find, when arriving to the front gate you almost feel as though you are at the wrong location. There are no signs or flashing lights, just a tall black gate and small buzzer marked Hôtel Particulier Montmartre. Once you are buzzed inside you will walk down a narrow cobblestone private street with a gorgeous view of the Eiffel Tower before you enter this secret Parisian hideaway.
This gorgeous white town house surrounded by lush greenery was formerly owned by the Hermès family and landscaped by Louis Benech (who redesigned the Tuileries gardens).
This quirky space is perfect for friends and couples alike. You feel as if you entering another space in time by its classic yet contemporary designed interiors and even more so by the surrounding garden filled with a fountain, greenhouse bar, and classic tables for the perfect popup picnic setup.
Currently the hotel is offering a mini picnic lunch special for 26 euros a person you can enjoy the lush garden and charming space and your own personal picnic basket full with an array of choices including: fruit, quiche, veggies, cheese, charcuterie, baguette, and more importantly decadent chocolate mousse.
